Pune: Cadbury boxes with Rs 18 lakhs cash stolen from car

NPnews24 Online Pune: A 28-year-old man has lodged FIR with Kondhwa police station stating that Rs 18 lakhs cash kept in two Cadbury chocolate boxes in his car, were stolen on Tuesday in Kondhwa.

Omprakash Chaudhary of Undri was to go to a builder’s office for making the payments for a land deal.

As per the FIR, the incident took place around 10.30 am opposite Kubera Colony society gate on NIBM road. Chaudhary and his partner have purchased four Guntha land from Porwal builder. They have made some payment and Rs 18 lakhs was remaining. Chaudhary had kept the cash in the two boxes and kept them in his car. After parking the car, Chaudhary went inside his shop and when came back, he found someone had broken the window glass and decamped with the cash.

After that he lodged complaint with police.
