Pune Accident News | Dumper driver dies after vehicle falls into a ditch in Mangdewadi
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Accident News | A driver of a dumper who was transporting debris of Pune Metro work lost control of the vehicle over a slope. The dumper travelled in the reverse direction and fell into a ditch with the driver and he died due to severe injuries. (Pune Accident News)
Subhash Tulshiram Mane (46), a resident of Thergaon, has been identified as the deceased. The incident happened in Mangdewadi in an area owned by Sunil Mangde on Wednesday at 5 pm.
Police constable Kiran Sable has lodged a complaint at the Bharati Vidyapeeth police station. Subhash Mane was working as driver in Samon Infra Corp located at Baner. The company is at present carrying out digging work for Pune Metro. He was transporting debris from the Swargate area to Mangdewadi. Cleaner Shailendra Pujari was with him. When the dumper was climbing a slope, driver Mane lost control of the vehicle and dumper started travelling in the reverse direction. Pujari jumped out of the vehicle but Mane could not come out and he fell into the ditch with the vehicle. He received serious injuries on his head and died.
