Pune: 20-Year-Old Young Man Arrested by Khadki Police in Brutal Rape Case; Further Investigation Continue

Pune: By saying I love you and I want to marry you, a person from Bopodi raped a 28-year-old girl. In this regard, Khadki Police apprehended the accused man on the basis of a complaint filed by the victim girl.

The accused individual is identified as Yash Vijay Chandane, and he is a resident of the Bopodi area. Khadki police arrested Chandane for sexually assaulting a 28-year-old girl. This incident took place from February 20 to February 29.

As per the information given by the police, the plaintiff girl has recently shifted to the Bopodi area. The accused, Chandane, fell in love with the girl and started harassing her by knocking on the door and window of the plaintiff’s house. Furthermore, he also attempted to unnecessarily contact her.

One day, the accused brazenly entered the victim’s house, ensuring no one was present in the house, and attempted to molest her. Further, when the accused started crying for help, he threatened her with killing if she persisted in yelling.

Shockingly, he maintained physical relations with the girl, fakely promising a false marriage promise to the plaintiff girl. Accordingly, Khadki Police arrested the accused individual, and Assistant Police Inspector Padole is conducting further investigation.
