Priyanka Chopra, announced her First film under Evil Eye, under Amazon Studio and Purple Picture Pebble Collaboration

Finally ! The wait is over. Priyanka Chopra’s production company  Purple Picture Pebble has announced its first international film.  It is a horror film, a part of an anthology named ‘Welcome to Blumhouse’. This has come after the announcement of a multi-millions  dollar deal with Amazon studios in July.

The name of the movie is ‘Evil- I’ directed by Los Angeles filmmakers Ellen Dasani and Rajeev Dasani. Along with Evil-I, anthology will also contain movies such as Nocturne, The Lie and Black Box. The film will be released in October,’ said Quantico actress.

The film is based on Madhuri Shekar’s novel. The story is about a mother who thinks that her daughter’s boyfriend has some connection with her horrendous past. The film shares screen with Sarita Choudhary, Sunita Mani, Omar Muscati and Bernard White, playing lead roles.

There are other various projects that  Priyanka will be producing. Among them one is a music reality show for the Amazon prime, of which Nick Jonas will also be part of it. Another is spy drama, lead role played by richar madden, a Game of Thrones and BodyGuard fame actor.

The deal with Amazon studios has been hugeroadway for her. While announcing about collaboration through her instagram, she was quite emotional about it. through her post she said, ‘ Being an actor and producer she has always dreamt of  creating great content featuring creative people irrespective of their language and geographical boundaries’. She also mentioned that, after 20 years of her career and 60 films, somewhere her dream is coming true.
