Prisoners in Gujarat Set an Example in Battle with Corona, Donates Large Amount in CM Relief Fund

In such a situation, the prisoners of Lajpor jail in Surat of Gujarat have set an example by depositing Rs 1 lakh 11 thousand 111 of their remuneration in the Chief Minister Relief Fund.

The Lajpor Jail of Surat has become the first jail whose prisoners have given the money collected from their wages to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Prisoners of Lajpor jail have deposited Rs 1 lakh 11 thousand 111 in Chief Minister Relief Fund.

Lajpor Jail Superintendent Manoj Ninama said that the prisoners in his jail had put a proposal before him. They expressed their desire to help the country in this era of crisis. Jail Superintendent Manoj Ninama said that prisoners have also come forward to fight against this worldwide epidemic, as they are also an integral part of society, even if they are in jail.
