PM Modi Visit Pune | PM Modi to inaugurate various projects on August 1 in Pune

PUNE: PM Modi Visit Pune | The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has started PM Awas Yojana for economically weaker sections at five different places in 2018. The ready houses will be handed over to the beneficiaries by PM Narendra Modi on August 1 at a programme to be held at police ground in Shivaji Nagar.

PM Narendra Modi is going to visit Pune for accepting the Lokmanya Tilak National Award.

 

 

At that time, ground breaking and public dedication of different projects of PMC, PCMC, MahaMetro and PMRDA will be held at the police ground. A meeting was held of the district collector, Pune police commissioner, municipal commissioner of PCMC and PMRDA officials. From Lohegaon airport, PM Modi will go to Sinchan Bhavan by a helicopter. Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar said that the government programme to be held at Shivaji Nagar is open to all.

 

Under the PM Awas Yojana, the PMC is going to construct 8,000 houses. Citizens who don’t have houses in PMC limits have been given flats under this scheme. Flat holders of Vadgaon project will be given keys of the house in a symbolic gesture.

 

The Lokmanya Tilak Trust presents Lokmanya Tilak National Award on Tilak’s death anniversary. This year, the award has been announced for PM Modi and the award will be presented by NCP supremo Sharad Pawar. PM Modi is going to visit Pune to receive the award on August 1. Modi will seek blessings of Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati and will pay his respects to Lokmanya Tilak at Tilak Smarak.
