Here are features on Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) hat as recently bthe municipal corporation has awarded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for creating and implementing idea of equal distribution of water under Municipal Bond.

The ceremony took place in Lucknow. Pune’s PMC Mayor Mukta Tilak, Additional Municipal Commissioner (Health) Sheetal Ugale and Chief Accountant PMC Ulka Kalaskar was present for the ceremony.

It’s on the third-year anniversary of Smart City Mission, Amrit Plan and Prime Minister’s Aawas Scheme and other schemes and initiative, a two-day workshop was held in Lucknow and on the last day prize distribution was carried.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and chief executive officer of Smart City Rajendra Jagtap and Former Commissioner and Director of Smart City Mission Kunal Kumar was also present for the event.

Apart from it the other initiative taken by PMC is about the ‘PMC CARE’ to resolve problems of the citizens, the grievance redressal of the citizen was being established which was praised, appreciated and discussed. PMC’s other top brass officials including the Head of Water Supply Department (PMC) V G Kulkarni, Information Technology (IT) department head Rahul Jagtap and disaster management cell officer Ganesh Sonu attended the ceremony as well for the workshop.

“Our initiative to build equal water distribution plan the Municipal Corporation has created 200 crore debt bonds. Our city is the only city from country to do this and its one of the proud moment that our initiative has been appreciated and awarded. For this initiative, PM Modi has claimed that they will be providing additional Rs 26 crores from Central Ministry fund for this project. This is really a pride moment for Punekars.” said the first citizen Mukta Tilak.
