Pimpri Chinchwad Advocates Bar Association | Bar Association Appeals for Enhanced Court Facilities in Pimpri-Chinchwad

Pune: Pimpri Chinchwad Advocates Bar Association | Pimpri Chinchwad Advocates Bar Association Under the guidance of President Adv. Narayan Rasal, Vice President Adv. Jayshree Vilas Kute met Justice Revati Mohite Dere at Bombay High Court.

At this time Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa member Adv. Harshad Nimbalkar, Former President of Pimpri Chinchwad Advocates Bar Association Adv. Vilas Kute, Secretary Adv. Ganesh Shinde, Member Adv. Swapnil Valunj, Adv. Saurabh Jagtap, Adv. Nitin Pawar, Adv. Mangesh Bade, Adv. Satyam Nimbalkar etc were present.

Pimpri Court has shifted to Nehrunagar. The court at Nehrunagar has been provided with all the facilities to run eleven courts. But at present five courts are functioning here. Hence, a follow-up is being done to start six more courts.

The value of the property determines the court in which the claim will proceed. Claims worth more than five lakhs go to the higher level civil courts. Pimpri Court now houses all lower level courts. Therefore, 55 percent of civil claims in Pimpri-Chinchwad city go to Pune courts. Keeping this in mind the Bar Association is planning to start three civil judge senior division and three district sessions courts in Pimpri court.

Through the Bar Association, a representation was given to the High Court Judge to establish a Civil Judge Senior Division Court as well as a District Court in the Pimpri Nehrunagar Court. The bar association said that considering the growing population of Pimpri-Chinchwad city, the pending cases of Pune courts, it is necessary to start a higher level civil court and a district sessions court in Pimpri.

It was also pointed out that the Pimpri Court has all the facilities to start a new court. On this, Justice Revati Mohite Dere promised to set up a Civil Judge Senior Division Court at Pimpri next month and start the work immediately.

Pimpri-Chinchwad Court is proposed at Moshi. Funds have been approved for that work and the actual work is yet to begin. Therefore, after reviewing the work of this judiciary, there has been a discussion with Justice Mohite Dere about Bhoomi Pujan next month.

Before starting a District Sessions Court, it is necessary to start a higher level Civil Court. Vadgaon Maval initially had lower level courts. After that the higher level civil court started. After six to seven months, a District Sessions Court has been started in Vadgaon Maval Court.

The High Court seeks statistics of claims from civil judge senior division courts. thereafter, it is followed up to the Law and Justice Department and approval is taken. It is said that since the Senior Level Civil Court will be started in Pimpri, the District Sessions Court will also be started in the next few months.
