Parbhani : Shiv Sena corporator killed with stone by ‘friends’

Parbhani  : Np News Network – A Shiv Sena corporator was murdered by two persons with stone over petty dispute in Parbhani on Sunday morning. After the incident, both accused surrendered before police and they were arrested.

The deceased corporator has been identified as Amardip Rode. The arrested accused persons are Ravi Gaikwad and Kiran Dhake.  All of them are known to each other.

According to police, there was some dispute between accused persons and Rode. The duo caught hold of Rode and hit him with stone.

However, police are yet to ascertain the exact motive behind the murder. Meanwhile, tension has gripped the Jayakwadi vasahat as well as the other areas in the vicinity. Police have deployed heavy bandobast as the murder has taken place ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.

Rode’s body has been taken to the government hospital for post mortem. Hundreds of people have gathered there.
