Parbhani : 43-year-old murdered in Manvat, investigation underway

Parbhani : A 43-year-old woman was murdered at Phulenagar in Manvat of Parbhani District on Sunday (February 21). Manvat police have registered a case of murder against an unidentified person. The victim was identified as Tabassum Badesab Sheikh (43).

According to the Manvat Police, Tabassum Sheikh had been engaged in prostitution in Phulenagar for the past few years. Around 8 pm on Sunday, Tabassum’s neighbour found her unconscious and in a suspicious condition. The neighbour immediately reported the matter to Manvat police.

Upon receiving the information, the police rushed to the spot and performed preliminary investigation. Police in its preliminary investigation found that Tabassum was murdered. Police Inspector Ramesh Swamy is further conducting the investigation.
