‘PARAKRAM PARV’ – Indian Air Force to organise static display at air force station Lohegaon, Pune on 29 September 18

To mark the second anniversary of Surgical Strike against terror camps across the line of control (LoC), a static display is being organized at Air Force Station Lohegaon, Pune on 29 Sep 18 from 0800hrs to 1600hrs to showcase the bravery, valor and patriotism of the Armed Forces.

On this occasion, a special stall will be set up by the Indian Air Force Commandos (Garud) to display the latest weaponry and combat tactics.

A ‘Selfie point’ will also be erected where the visitors can take ‘selfies’ with the surgical strike theme as the backdrop. Also, as a part of 86th-anniversary celebrations of the Indian Air Force, a Static Display of the fighter aircraft, missile systems, specialist vehicles, weapon systems along with flying display of aeromodels will also be exhibited.

Additionally, an information kiosk would also be set up to educate the visitors about the various avenues available in the IAF. Indian nationals including students from various Schools and Colleges in and around Pune are invited to witness the event at Air Force Station Lohegaon. The visitors are to be in possession of valid photo identity proof issued by Govt. of India.
