Pandharpur : Truck rams into car on Solapur-Pune highway, 2 dead

Solapur : Two persons were killed when a truck collided with a car parked on the side of the road at Shivajinagar Bale on the way to Solapur-Pandharpur. The incident happened around 10:40 pm on Sunday.

The deceased have been identified as Sarang Prakash Ranadive (30) and Sanjay Vithoba Abhange (30) of Tungat, Pandharpur. The two had come to Solapur on Sunday for work. After work, he left for Pandharpur at night. Meanwhile, his car (No. MH13 / AZ-7234) was punctured. Due to puncture, both stopped in front of a puncture shop near a hotel in Shivaji Nagar, Bale.

While removing the puncture, a goods truck (No. CG04 / MP-1457) coming towards Pune collided with a car. Sarang Ranadive and Sanjay Abhange, who were standing near the car, were seriously injured in the collision. Both were admitted to a government hospital for treatment and were declared dead on the spot. A case is being registered against the truck driver in this regard.
