Pakistan bans Indian moves from its theater

NPnews24 Online: After the scrapping of Article 370 in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan has announced a ban on Indian movies in cinemas in the country.

Special assistant to Prime Minister, Firdous Ashiq told to media outside Pakistan Parliament that policy was being drawn to ban all Indian cultural content in the country.

Pakistan decision comes in the wake of revocation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan downgraded its diplomatic ties with India.

In a press statement released after the meeting announced that Pakistan will downgrade diplomatic relations with India, suspend bilateral trade with India, review bilateral arrangements and also August 15 will be observed as black day in Pakistan to condemn abrogation of Article 370.
