Oxford’s Corona Vaccine Price in India Will Be Around 1000 Rupees

Mumbai : The whole world is focused on the vaccine in Corona’s war. Until the corona vaccine is not made, it is not possible to compete with the corona. In such a situation, good news has come out from Oxford University. There is a human trial going on this vaccine and better results have come out in the trial. The Oxford University vaccine will be produced in India as well.

Andrew Pollard said that antibody response shows that this vaccine is very effective. He said that despite the success of the trial, now we need proof that this vaccine can prevent Coronavirus. Pollard said that now the trial of this vaccine will be done on different people and an assessment will be made to see what effect it has on other people.

He said that it would be a big challenge to make a vaccine during the COVID epidemic and supply it to the whole world. In response to this question, he said that work is going on in America and China also. Is there competition with them in this situation? To this, he said, ‘We see it not as competition but as a collective effort. We also share our experiences with people engaged in research on COVID in other countries of the world, so that together we can compete with Corona.’

CEO of Pune-based Serum Institute of India, which is going to produce this vaccine in India, Adar Poonawala said that we are going to produce this vaccine in a big way and this week we are going to take permission for the vaccine. Poonawala said that by December, we will be able to make 300-400 million doses of Oxford Vaccine Covishield.

Price can be around 1000 Rs – Poonawala
Talking about the cost of the vaccine, he said that since the whole world is struggling with COVID at this time, we will keep its price to a minimum. Initially, no profit will be taken on this. He said that its price in India can be around 1000 rupees or less. He said that the whole world is facing the Corona crisis. Therefore, the demand for vaccine will be very high. In such a situation, we will need government machinery for its production and distribution.
