Osmanabad: Unable to repay loan, farmer dies by suicide 

Osmanabad: A farmer died by suicide in Varvand in Osmanabad taluka after getting fed up with debt as he had taken a loan from SBI bank. The deceased has been identified as Nanasaheb Jeevanrao Pawar (age 35, resident of Osmanabad).

According to the information received, Nanasaheb Jeevanrao Pawar (35, resident of Osmanabad taluka) from Varvati in Osmanabad taluka had taken a crop loan from a SBI bank. Due to a bad crop season, he wasn’t able to repay the loan. Being depressed due to this, the farmer attempted suicide and died. Further investigation has been handed over to Police constable Mulla.

The villagers are also demanding that the concerned department should take notice of the case and give him justice.
