One arrested for killing a stray dog

NPnews24 Online Pimpri: One person has been arrested by the Wakad police for allegedly killing a stray dog. The arrested accused has been identified as Ripon Sabur SK, aged 23, a resident from Wakad.

The complaint was filed at the Wakad police station by Prajakta Kunal Singh, aged 32, who is also a resident from Wakad.

According to the police, Ripon works as a labourer. On Monday at around 11:30 pm, Ripon beat a stray dog on the road. The dog became unconscious on the spot.

The dog was rushed to a doctor in Aundh, who declared the dog dead before the treatment.  However, doctors declared him dead before the treatment.

Due to this, Prajakta filed a complaint against the accused Ripon under section (1) A of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960.
