Old man held for molesting 11-year-old grandchild; good touch, bad touch taught in school helped

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Pune Crime News | A shocking case of molestation of an 11-year-old girl by her grandfather has come to light through the ‘Good Touch Bad Touch’ programme conducted in a school in Kondhwa. (Pune Crime News)

The Kondhwa Police have arrested the man in this case. The incident happened in December 2022. A 23-year-old woman has lodged a complaint at the Kondhwa police station. The complainant was conducting a session of ‘Good Touch Bad Touch’ for Class IV children in a school. An 11-year-old girl studying in the fourth class opened up about an incident. She said that her grandfather used to take her in his lap and do indecent behaviour when no one was at home. If she screamed, he would shut my mouth. When resisted, he would nail her. He would show her porn videos.

After the woman’s complaint, the police registered a case under the POCSO Act and arrested the old man.
