Number Of People Infected With Coronavirus Crossed 900 in Goa, 2 Deaths So Far

Panaji : In Goa on Tuesday, 45 new cases of infection of Coronavirus were reported in 24 hours. With this, the number of people infected with this deadly virus in the state has crossed 900. According to information given by health officials on Tuesday, the total number of people infected with the Coronavirus in Goa has now reached 909. Apart from this, 2 people have died due to infection of this virus in the state. Mangalore Hill area of the state has become a hotspot.

So Far 205 Patients Have Defeated the Virus
Giving information about the situation in this state, which was declared corona-free at one time, a health official said that after 53 patients were discharged from the hospital on Tuesday, the total number of patients recovering has increased to 205. He also informed that 702 people in the state are still vulnerable to infection. The health official said that out of 1,991 samples tested on Tuesday, 1,274 reported negative, while 672 others are awaiting test results.

Mangor Hill Has the Highest Number Of 327 Cases
As per the data, 327 cases of infection have been reported so far at Mangor Hill in Vasco Nagar, which has emerged as the most affected area due to Coronavirus, while 205 more patients are being reported as belonging to the area which has been declared as a non-affected area. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has refuted rumors that a patient who died of COVID-19 was a former minister of state. He said, “The position of the former minister remains stable and the treatment is being effective on him.”
