Now Doctors of Govt. Hospitals Also Missing from Duty in Bihar

New Delhi : Bihar, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh or Uttar Pradesh, the situation is the same everywhere. In Bihar, private doctors as well as doctors of government hospitals are also missing. The Bihar government is also searching for government doctors there.

There have been 547 cases of corona in Bihar at present, but now workers are returning to Bihar from other states. Hence the risk of corona has also increased. But only government hospitals in Bihar is the only support because private doctors are not working. Bihar government had issued an order on April 20, asking private doctors to open nursing homes and clinics as most of the private doctors in Bihar had stopped functioning from 22 March. The government hospitals in Bihar have 22 thousand beds while the private hospitals in the state have 48 thousand beds, and since most of the hospitals are closed, the burden is on the government hospitals. Principal Secretary of Health Department of Bihar, Sanjay Kumar wrote in his tweet that, except Corona, 90 percent private doctors of Bihar are not seeing patients with common diseases. 90 percent private OPDs are also closed in Bihar.

The trouble is double for Bihar. Private doctors are sitting at home and many government doctors are missing. In fact, in view of the crisis of Corona, the government checked the number and presence of doctors in all the districts, then it was found that 362 doctors were not coming on duty in the hospital. The government issued notice to these doctors, warning them to take legal action, but till now no response from doctors received. As people are now returning in large numbers from other states in Bihar, more doctors are needed for their screening and for taking care of sick people. Since the risk of corona has also increased due to the arrival of people, the teams of doctors are being deployed. The disappearance of such a large number of government doctors at this time is a matter of concern.

Another major problem is that most of the doctors are missing from duty in the same districts where corona patients are more and those districts are in red zone. So far, 36 cases of Corona have been found in Nalanda where 31 doctors are not coming on duty. So far, 45 cases have been found in Patna and 25 doctors are absent here. There are 52 reported cases of corona in Rohtas district and 24 doctors disappeared there due to fear of corona. The highest number of 102 cases is in Munger, where 18 government doctors are not on duty. 18 cases have been found in Bhojpur and 18 doctors are missing there.
