New born was blind, mom-dad buried alive

But, this incident from Bihar is a shame to humanity and questions the human sentiments and their values as in Bihar’s Banka area once again an incident has taken place which is a shame to humanity. The child being blind her parents buried her alive inside the ground.
The child was just two and a half months old. On Sunday evening, some people heard distinct cries from inside the ground. When they started digging more, they discovered the infant buried under the soil.
On the order of Panchayat Samiti member Manish Kumar, the infant was immediately admitted to the hospital where the people present identified her as the daughter of Sabita Devi and Upendra Yadav.
The child was blind from the time she was born which is why her relatives wanted to get rid of her. The local residents said that the infant was buried in the morning but people came to know about it late in the evening.
Luckily, it was not too late to retrieve the girl from the ground and was treated in time which saved her life.
The infant is still under treatment by the doctors in the hospital and is in a good health condition. Child line’s director Chiranjeev Kumar said that any one who wants to adopt the child can.
It’s a ritual going on since decades to abandon a girl child but abandoning a girl just because she is blind is a merciless act. No person is perfect and imperfections are a part of life and should be accepted the way they are. How can a parent be so merciless?
