NDRF moves to search missing girl from Nagphani

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE: PUNE:  NDRF moves to search missing youth, girl who fell down Nagphani point, Bhimashankar

Two persons including a girl are missing after falling from Nagphani point in 500 feet deep gorge in the Bhimashankar sanctuary around 4 pm on Monday. Officials from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Talegaon, have been roped in to rescue them.

Atfer the incident was reported to Pune rural police control room, a team led by Khed Police Inspector Arvind Chaudhary rushed to the spot. They tried to search them but failed locate them.

Meanwhile, local villagers and trekkers groups have also been called to search the youth and the girl.
