NAARI SHAKTI MOTORCYCLE EXPEDITION FROM BHOPALTO SECUNDERABAD 

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – The Corps of Electronic and Mechanical Engineers (EME) is undertaking on all Women Officers expedition called ‘EME Naari Shakti Motorcycle Expedition’ from Bhopal to Secunderabad covering a distance of approx 1720 Km from 29 November to 06 December 2018 as part of the Platinum Jubilee & 10th Corps Reunion Celebrations of Corps of EME.

The expedition comprises of six volunteer Women Officers of Corps of EME under the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel Manmeet Kaur. To motivate the youth towards joining Armed Forces, an Aero show comprising of Hot Air Balloon Display was also conducted as part of the flag off ceremony at 0830 hour on 29 November 18 at Jeet Singh Stadium, 3 EME Centre, Bhopal. The expedition was flagged off by Major General TPS Rawat, General Officer Commanding, Paschim Madhya Pradesh Sub Area, Bhopal.The event was attended by senior Army officials, veterans, disabled soldiers, NCC cadets, civilians and students from the local schools.

The aim of the expedition is to spread the message of WomenEmpowerment (NaariShakti),‘BetiBachao, BetiPadhao’, and toMotivate young girls to join the Indian Army. The expedition will also meet and connectwith Veterans enroute.
