PICNIC FOR STAFF AND FAMILIES OF PARAPLEGIC REHABILITATION CENTRE (PRC), KIRKEE (PUNE)

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – As a part of Navy Week 2018 activities, INS Shivaji organised a picnic for some 71 personnel, including residents, staff and families, of the Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre (PRC), Kirkee (Pune) on 29 Nov 18.

The event instilled a sense of belongingness, camaraderie and bonding between the visitors of PRC and the naval personnel. The picnic included conduct of various games, an entertainment programme, screening of a movie and a Barakhana for the guests.

Cmde K Srinivas, Commanding Officer, INS Shivaji and the station personnel interacted with the guests during the picnic.  At present, PRC, Kirkee has 91 residents and is managed and run by a Committee appointed by the Army Southern Command, Pune.
