MPSC aspirants in trouble, delay in typing exam results

Thousands of students may miss the chance

Main examination for class C MPSC (Maharashtra Public Service Commission) posts is scheduled from 14 October and the last date for filling exam forms is 11th of this month. However, the Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) has not yet declared results of typing exams. Passing typing exam is a prerequisite to appear for this MPSC main exam. Hence thousands more students may miss the chance only due to delay in results declaration by Exam Council.

Maharashtra State Exam Council has conducted this typing exam in between 2 to 6 July 2018. Lakhs of students are in tension as they can’t fill the form for this MPSC main exam without typing exam result. This MPSC main exam is supposed to fill 939 vacant posts for class C.

“We are attempting to declare the result of typing exam within next week so that the students can fill exam form of MPSC main exam. About 1.25 lacks students have given the exam of typing (English/Marathi) from the state.” Said by Dattatray Jagtap the Chairman of Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE).

Students reaction:

“(MSCE) has not yet declared results of typing exams, even I have passed the pre-examination and appeared for Main Exam, but still I can’t fill form without typing exam result. Before the 11th of September, the results should be declared, otherwise, there will be the huge loss of students like me.” – Shivaji Ghayat.

“I have cleared pre-exam already by making lots of efforts, but now I am afraid that I may miss the chance to sit for Main only because MSCE has not declared results of typing exams yet. Before the last date of form filling, the results should be declared or they should give permission to us to fill form without typing exam result.”- Parmeshwar Chaudhari.

“MSCE has not proper management as we gave typing exam in July, but still they are not declaring it results. What should we do now?”- Sonyabapu Nalawade.
