Minor boy killed by his friends by assaulting him with sickle in Mangdewadi

The deceased has been identified as Tanmay Ingle (17). The accused assaulted Tanmay on his head with a sickle and smashed his head with a stone. The police rushed to the spot after they were informed. After doing a panchnama, the body was sent for a post-mortem.
The accused and deceased are friends. On Wednesday afternoon, they had gathered at an isolated spot at Mangdewadi. They had arguments over some issues. Later, other minor boys assaulted Tanmay with a sickle and smashed his head with a stone. Tanmay, who was seriously injured, died on the spot. According to initial reports, three accused have been apprehended.
