Microsoft to Permanently Shutter All Its Physical Retail Stores Spread Around the World 

New Delhi: Microsoft has announced that it is going to close 83 of its physical stores worldwide. However, it will continue to invest in her online store. The company has said that at the moment it will not lay off any of its employees and customers will continue to get the same service as before. Microsoft’s newsletter said that only four stores will remain open, in which the product is no longer sold.

Focus On Online Stores

The company has issued a statement saying that now its focus will be on the online store. The company will train retail teams for sales and support. According to the company, the number of monthly active users of Microsoft.com, Xbox and Windows is 1.2 billion spread across 190 markets of the world. The company has stated that its online sales are increasing steadily. The company’s team is serving customers virtually better than retail stores.

Microsoft said, ‘We have created a team which has people of different types of talent, they can work from any corner of the world. Our team is ready to help all types of customers under any circumstances. Our team consists of people who know more than 120 languages. Now it has stronger and talented people than before.’
