‘Mehndi’ film actor Faraz Khan passes away

Mumbai : Bollywood actor Faraaz Khan has passed away. He was 46 years old and was admitted to a hospital in Bangalore for a long time. Actress Pooja Bhatt has informed about the death of actor Faraz Khan of ‘Mehndi’.

Pooja Bhatt tweeted: ‘With a heavy heart I break the news that #FaraazKhan has left us for what I believe, is a better place.Gratitude to all for your help & good wishes when he needed it most.Please keep his family in your thoughts & prayers.The void he has left behind will be impossible to fill ‘

Pooja had also demanded financial assistance for Faraz. After which Salman Khan had paid all his bills. This information was given by actress Kashmira Shah. Faraz Khan’s financial condition was not good. Recently, for his treatment, his family had appealed to the people for financial help through a fund-raiser website.

Faraz Khan’s father Yusuf Khan was also an actor. Like his father, Faraz Khan too decided to pursue a career in acting. Faraz Khan along with Rani Mukerji appeared in many Bollywood films including ‘Mehndi’, ‘Dulhan Bano Main Teri’ and ‘Fareb’.

The song ‘Teri Aankhen Jhukki Jhukki’ from Faraz’s film ‘Fareb’ was a big hit. Rani Mukerji starrer film ‘Mehndi’ was Faraz Khan’s last film. Faraz had been fighting chest phlegm and infection for almost a year.
