Man stabbed for not having money in his pocket at Gunjan Chowk in Yerwada

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Pune Crime News | While going home with friends, a man stopped to see some boys making a fuss. Two of them forcibly checked his pockets. However, as nothing was found in his pocket, they stabbed him with a knife in the stomach and seriously injured him. (Pune Crime News)

 

Krishna Raghunath Ingle (24) from Pimpri has lodged a complaint at the Yerwada Police Station. The police have registered a case against the culprit.

 

According to the police, the complainant works as a cleaner in Chikhali. He had gone with his boss to salute the Vijayastambha at Perne Phata. There he got lost in the crowd. He met two persons living nearby. He was going back home with them on a motorcycle at 10:30 pm. Four to five people were making noise at Gunjan Talkies Chowk. He parked the vehicle aside and went to those boys he knew.

 

Two of the boys who were making a fuss checked the complainant’s pockets. Nothing was found in it. Then, after abusing him, one stabbed him in the stomach. Resisting them, the complainant ran to save himself in the dark and hid in a stable. He was bleeding profusely. He came out after waiting for some time. He went across the road but fell down as he had lost strength. After some time, he regained consciousness and walked away. He saw the police station in front. Police admitted him to Sassoon Hospital.

 

Doctors have operated on him and PSI Dombale is investigating.
