Preparations have been started by all the parties for upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Ministry of External Affairs Secretary Dnyaneshwar Mulay has given a hint that he will also join the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, during an event on Wednesday.

“I believe that good people should come in politics. I am currently employed, But when I retire, the next day I will take my decision” he said while responding to the question related to politics.

The topic is in the discussion from last six months that his name has been given in the Lok Sabha elections. Many people are assuming that he will be the contestant for the election from Kolhapur, Sangli, and Pune. Since from past few months, the tour of Mulay has increased in Pune and in western Maharashtra. He was continuously attending and participating in public and social events. So people are assuming that he will be a part of politics soon. After the passport camp in S. P. college on Wednesday, he interacted with media talking indirectly by giving hint about his political start.

He said, “Good people should come in politics, which will help in the faster progress of the country. People are talking about me, but currently, I am doing my job that’s why I cannot speak anything about it. The day when I resign, I will announce my decision, said Mulay to reporters.

While giving information about passport, he indirectly praised about leaders of Bhartiya Janta Party. He appreciated the work done by political representatives who were sitting on the stage.

Dyaneshwar Mulay is basically from Kolhapur district. He said, “I am not from Pune but I am connected with Pune for many years. People of Kolhapur do not feel good without having a flutter in Pune, he said. This is why, along with Kolhapur, his name has also been discussed in connection with the Pune elections.”
