Khadak police arrest four within 24 hours for murderous attack on man
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime News | The Khadak police have arrested four accused within 24 hours in the case of a murderous attack on a man on the day of Makara Sankranti. A case of attempt to murder has been registered against the accused at the Khadak Police Station. (Pune Crime News)
The arrested accused have been identified as Aniket Venkatesh Koli (21), Shailesh alias Sahil Ramappa Bagri (21), Ajay Ramappa Bagri (20) and Bharat Venkatesh Koli (19). On the day of Makar Sankranti, a fight broke out with a man for overturning a parked motorcycle. Keeping this anger in mind, the accused conspired and attacked the man murderously.
As it is a serious crime, Sr. PI Sangeeta Yadav of Khadak Police Station gave instructions to arrest the accused immediately. Accordingly, PI Rajesh Tatkare immediately sent two investigation teams. The police got a tip-off about the accused.
The accused were arrested by a team comprising Sr. PI Sangeeta Yadav, PI (Crime) Rajesh Tatkare, API Rakesh Jadhav, PSI Atul Bankar, police constables Aziz Baig, Sandeep Talekar, Vishal Jadhav, Sagar Ghadge, Lakhan Dhaware, Mangesh Gaikwad, Rafiq Nadaf, Akshay Kumar Wable, Nitin Jadhav, Mahesh Pawar, Mahesh Jadhav and Yogesh Chandel under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police Sandeep Singh Gill, ACP Satish Govekar.
The Khadak police are conducting further investigation into the crime.
