Kangana may join BJP, slams Sonai Gandhi for her silence

Manali: After Uddhav Thackeray, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has attacked Congress President Sonia Gandhi. On Friday, Kangana said that history will judge her silence and partiality. Kangana’s direct attack on Sonia comes at a time when there is a sharp discussion in her home state of Himachal Pradesh that she and her family can join the BJP.

A day before, Kangana’s mother and former Sanskrit teacher Asha Ranaut thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, saying, “Even though we were Congress supporters, they supported us.” Kangana’s late grandfather Sarju Ram was a Congress MLA from Gopalpur seat in Mandi district.

‘History will judge your silence’

Kangana while addressing Sonia Gandhi in a tweet on Friday wrote, “When women are being exploited and mocked by law and order in your government, your silence will be called history.” I hope you will interfere.

She tweeted-“Dear respected honourable @INCIndia president Sonia Gandhi ji being a woman arn’t you anguished by the treatment I am given by your government in Maharashtra? Can you not request your Government to uphold the principles of the Constitution given to us by Dr. Ambedkar?”
