Junnar Police book ten people for violating Collector’s restraining order; Gram Panchayat members included

Pune District: The Junnar police have registered a case against a total of ten people, including newly elected Gram Panchayat members from Golegaon (Taluka Junnar), for violating the Collector’s restraining order, informed Inspector Vikas Jadhav.

Police Constable Nitin Lohkare has lodged a complaint in this regard. Police have registered a case against ten to twelve people of Golegaon including Harshal Vijay Jadhav, Gulab Bhalchandra Lokhande, Archana Rajendra Tamhane, Lata Tukaram Bidwai, Shivaji Maruti Ghogre, Arvind Chandrakant Bidwai, Sanjay Gangaram Khandagale, Ganpat Sonu Aadhan, Shantaram Vishwas Jadhav, and Sunita Vitthal Modhe.

The incident took place in front of Thakarvasti on Lenyadri Road on Monday (January 18) afternoon. Police said that the action was taken after receiving information that the winning candidates took out a rally to celebrate their victory.
