Interesting facts about the Movie Kedarnath, India’s biggest natural disaster

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – Abhishek Kapoor’s much talked about film ‘Kedarnath’ is all set to roll and it features a fresh pairing of Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan. This will be her debut film and if you don’t know she is the daughter of Saif Ali Khan. The film has been creating a lot of buzz lately with all its pictures on the social media and the recently released motion poster.

Let us take a look at some interesting facts about the film…

1 The flick has a backdrop of the 2013 Uttrakhand floods and has been shot along a 14-km pilgrimage from Gauri Kund to Kedarnath.

2 Kedarnath is woven around Sushant and Sara’s characters Mansoor and Mukku. The film narrates how a Muslim pithoo saves a Hindu tourist from the floods and how they fall for each other.

3 Initially, it was supposed to hit the theatres on November 30, but after all the delays, the makers have locked December 7 as the movie’s release date.

4 The songs of the movie have been composed by Amit Trivedi and the lyrics are written by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

5 Kedarnath has pushed ahead of its release date due to the shooting for an important sequence which required a huge set of Kedarnath to be built in Mumbai.
