India ranked at 52 in Global Innovation Index

NPnews24 Online, PUNE: Improvement in ease of doing business and coming up of innovative idea India’s positioned improved at 52 from the current 57^th position.

India stands at 57^th in GII 2018. The Global Innovation Index is published annually by Cornell University, INSEAD and the UN World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and GII Knowledge partner.

Day earlier Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal trade (DPIT) secretary Ramesh Abhishek said, India may improve its indicator like ease of doing business and other parameters, so GII ranking will also improve.
