Pune : The very famous 2nd Oxford Premier League to be held in Pune in April is getting a huge response. The Player’s Auction was organized today in Pune to recruit the best players from all over the country in 12 teams. There was a strong tug of war among all the team owners to get their choice of players in their team. Therefore, in this year’s OPL, it is predicted that Pune people will get to see very intense golf matches.

Today in Pune, there was a bid for the best players to decide the team of players for this international league match. The event was inaugurated by Golf Industry Association President 5 Oxford Golf Course Director Anil Seolekar inaugurated each team by giving the flag and cutting the cake. Former president of FICCI Neelam Seolekar, Aditya Malpani of Ace Golfing along with players and team sponsors were present on this occasion. This time Pramod Kalia was bought by the team Blissing Birdies in the gold category with a bid of 68 lakhs, while in the silver category Saubhagya Raul was included in their team by the Eagle Forces with a bid of 112 lakhs and in the bronze category Vaibhav Dwivedi was included by the Roaring Tigers Nagpur team in a bid of 19 lakhs. In this way, each team has entered the players by bidding for many top players. The event was held at Oxford Golf Resort. More than twelve teams will participate in this league. Till date Eagle Forces, Bindhast Boys, SJ Sultan Swings, Blistering Birdies, Zingers, Green Gadders, Top teams like Gaditors, Pune Lions, Subban Sunrisers, Dubai Falcon, The League Club, Softail Swingers, Blissering Birdies have participated. Therefore, the organizers have expressed the belief that this year’s Oxford Premier League will be very tough and glamorous .
