Home Minister Amit Shah to visit Konkan on February 6

Mumbai: Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Konkan in Maharashtra on February 6 to attend a program at MP Narayan Rane’s Lifetime Medical College at Sindhudurg. Earlier, Amit Shah’s visit to the Konkan was uncertain due to the situation created by the farmers’ agitation in Delhi. However, now Shah will be visiting Konkan on February 6.

Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis, State President Chandrakant Patil and Praveen Darekar will also be present on the occasion.

Reportedly, former CM and MP Narayan Rane has succeeded in creating dominance by joining the Bharatiya Janata Party. It is said that the party is happy with Rane’s work in the recent Gram Panchayat elections. In the recent Gram Panchayat elections, BJP had achieved significant success in many districts of Konkan including Sindhudurg. Reportedly, Rane’s leadership played an important role in the winning streak of BJP at the Panchayat elections.

Earlier, Rane’s security was reduced by the Mahavikas Aghadi government. But within a few days, the central government had again offered Y-grade security to Rane. The MVA government had also reduced the security cover for BJP leader and ex-CM Devendra Fadnavis and State President Chandrakant Patil.
