Health Minister on Coronavirus – 5 Cases in India, People Should Not Visit These Countries

New Delhi : Corona Virus is spreading rapidly all over the world. More than 80 thousand cases of this infection have been reported worldwide. There have also been two cases of corona virus in India. It is being told that these two cases of corona virus have been reported in the country’s capital Delhi and Telangana. In view of this, the country’s Health Minister Dr. Harshvardhan gave a press conference.

Dr. Harshvardhan told that two cases of coronavirus have been found positive in Delhi and Telangana. Both of them have come to India from Italy and Dubai. The condition of the two patients in which these infections have been found positive is stable and they are being closely monitored. The Health Minister informed that so far a total of 5 positive cases have been found in India.

Dr. Harsh Vardhan informed that screening has been done at 21 airports, 12 major ports and 65 small ports across the country. So far 5,57,431 passengers have been screened at airports and 12,431 passengers at all major and minor ports. He informed that with changing conditions, travel restrictions can be increased in other countries as well.

People should not travel to these countries
Dr. Harsh Vardhan informed that under the travel advisory, the existing visas and e-visas for China and Iran will be suspended at present. Travel restrictions can be extended to other countries as conditions change.

Dr. Harsh Vardhan has advised the people of India to avoid unnecessary travel to China, Iran, Korea, Singapore and Italy.

More than three thousand people have died
Corona virus, which started spreading from China, has so far caught around 89 thousand people worldwide while more than three thousand people have died from it.

Earlier, Minister of State for External Affairs V Muralidharan said on Sunday that the government had received reports of Indians including fishermen being trapped in Iran due to Corona virus and the embassy in Tehran is in touch with local authorities on the issue.
