Gujarat : Vaccination process to start before Makarsankranti, 2.5 lakh people will be included first

Ahmedabad : Coronavirus has caused havoc in Gujarat after Diwali. Amid this, according to media reports, vaccination process could begin in early January 2021.

Tight arrangements have been made by the central government to give the first dose of Corona vaccine. The process of vaccinating more than two and a half lakh health workers in Ahmedabad, the hospital sector, is expected to begin in mid-January. The health worker will have to fill up a form with all the smallest details and submit it to the vaccine task force.

All government and private physicians have been notified by the Vaccine Task Force for a list of health workers currently working in their units. In which a health worker has to fill all the details from his Aadhaar card to mobile number in the form. The list will be sent to the Central Government.

How safe will the arrangements be for vaccination?
– Excel sheet containing 20 boxes will be given to the hospital administrators in coordination with the state government
– Health workers will have to fill in all the details including home address, mobile number, Aadhar card number in this sheet.
– The list of health workers will also be monitored to ensure that the family doesn’t get vaccine in the name of health worker
– Aadhar card number will be linked by the barcode given on the vaccine
– Vaccine will be given after the scan number of the vaccine matches with the scanner number of the Aadhaar card.
