Ahmedabad: COVID19 test made mandatory to enter city

Ahmedabad: Tents for rapid corona antigen tests of corona have been set up at Kanbha Chokdi, Kamod Chokdi and Bakrol Chokdi in Ahmedabad district to prevent corona infection as well as for immediate identification of positive patients. Mandatory tests will be conducted on people passing through this route. At present 20 to 25 cases of corona are being registered daily in Ahmedabad district. Strict testing on the entrances of the city is being done. On the one hand, the testing is being done by the municipal corporation and on the other hand, the rural areas are being adequately monitored by the district administration.

At present, testing is underway at Kanbha Chokdi in Daskroi taluka. As it is the Ahmedabad-Indore National Highway, this road has a large number of people to and from Ahmedabad. It is noteworthy that the tent for testing at Kanbaha was earlier set up but it was closed within a few days. Now that the Corona transition has increased, this testing tent has been set up again.

Testing tents have been set up on Kheda-Anand roads leading to Ahmedabad at Bakrod and Kamod. About 1700 tests are being conducted daily in the district at present. The district administration has appealed to the people to keep a distance of 6 feet between each other, wear masks and wash hands frequently, take the disease seriously and take adequate precautions.
