Government launched BIS app to verify the Gold-Purity

New Dlehi: The Government of India launched a BIS app for consumers buying gold jewellery, through this app, customers can easily find whether the gold is real or not. Customers will now be able to check the veracity of the goods through the BIS app.

The complaint related to goods, license, registration and verification of hallmark can be made on App and will be investigated through BIS App. Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan launched the BIS Care app  last month. If the license, registration and hallmark number of the goods are found wrong in this app then the customer can also complain immediately. Through this app, the customer will get information about filing a complaint immediately.

Along with implementing BIS standards, it also checks the authenticity of the gold. BIS has issued around 37,000 standards, with the number of licenses expected to boom due to the issues of quality control orders.

The BIS-Care app is currently available only to Android users. It is available on the Google Play Store. You can download it from the Google Play Store on your Android phone and find the BIS-Care app in the search bar and install it on your mobile. Using the bis-care app is very simple.
