Good News! Non-Subsidized Gas Cylinders Rates Cut by 62 Rs. From Today

New Delhi : There is a relief news during the coronavirus crisis and lockdown. From today, non-subsidized LPG cylinder (14.2 kg) has become cheaper by Rs 62. Now only Rs 779 will have to be paid for the cylinder. The prices of cylinders have dropped for the second consecutive month. According to the information, the new rates have come into effect from this morning.

General Manager of IOC said –
IOC General Manager (LPG) Arun Prasad said that the oil companies have also reduced Rs 96 in commercial cylinders (19 kg). Commercial cylinders will now cost Rs 1369.50. The five kg cylinder has also been reduced by Rs 21.50, new rates will be Rs. 286.50.

According to the report, Rs. 263 will be subsidized in the account. After this, the subsidized cylinder to consumers will cost around Rs 516. It is to be noted that at present, the government subsidizes 12 cylinders of 14.2 kg for each household in a year.

– 14.2 kg cylinder price – 779.00

– 5 kg cylinder price – 286.50

– 9 kg cylinder price – 1369.50
