Four including 3 women from Thailand rescued in a raid at spa in Kondhwa by Social Security Cell of Crime Branch

Pune : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune Crime News | The Social Security Cell (SSC) of the Crime Branch has busted a sex racket by raiding Lana Sparsh Spa in Lulla Nagar, Kondhwa. The police have rescued four women. (Pune Crime News)

The SSC got a tip-off that prostitution business was going on under the guise of a spa center in flat no. 6, first floor of Gulmohar Orchid Building in Lullanagar. After verifying the details received, the SSC raided Lana Sparsh Spa under the guidance of senior officials. Action was taken against the spa owner and the manager. Four young women were rescued, including three from Thailand.

A team comprising Sr PI Vijay Kumbhar, API Ashvini Patil, API Aniket Pote, constables Rajendra Kumawat, Baba Karpe, Ajay Rane, Anna Mane, Pramod Mohite and Pushpendra Chavan took the action. A case has been registered under sections 370 and 34 of the IPC and sections 3, 4, 5 of the Immoral Human Traffic Prevention Act in the Kondhwa police station. The manager and the women have been handed over to the Kondhwa Police for further action.
