FIR Filed on 4 for Forcibly Taking Off the Underwear of College Girls in Gujarat

Bhuj : npnews24 : There has been a ruckus in the case of the removal of girls’ underwear in Gujarat. An FIR has been registered against 4 people. An FIR has been registered against the principal of the college, hostel warden and 2 female assistants of the hostel for this incident in Bhuj.

This sensational incident has come to light from Shri Sahajanand Girls Institute in Bhuj district of Gujarat. This news came out after being published in a local media institute. According to the report of this media institute, girls are not allowed to shake hands or hug any other student during the period in college.

The National Commission for Women (NCW) has taken cognizance of the matter of stripping girls’ clothes. The NCW has described it as a disturbing incident. For this, an inquiry committee has been set up which will visit the hostel. Also, girls will be encouraged to come forward and speak at such events.

According to the report, the principal of the college forcibly took off the underwear of 68 girls and checked whether they were going through menstruation. Also, this order has also been issued that girls passing through periods should not go to the nearby temple.
