Fear of Corona : China Reopens 500 Movie Theaters, Not Even a Single Ticket Sold

Wuhan : The corona virus is spreading rapidly in almost all the countries of the world. But no new cases of coronavirus have been reported in China since last few days. The spread of this virus was started from the city of Wuhan in China. In such a situation, now China is slowly moving towards normal living, but still the fear of corona remains in the people.

Closed in January due to Coronavirus, more than 500 theaters were re-opened in China. But it is surprising that even after opening theaters, not a single ticket was sold. No human came to watch the film due to fear of Corona.

According to a report by The Guardian, there are more than 70 thousand cinemas in China. Looking at the situation, 500 of these were opened. 507 cinemas were opened on Monday. In China, two provinces – Fujian and Guangdong – did not sell a single ticket in theaters on Friday. The total earning was less than 2 thousand dollars.

At the same time, movie business analyst Atul Mohan said in a tweet that China is trying to be normal again once Corona’s fear decreases.

Film industry in India badly affected
Due to fear of Corona, the government is maintaining a complete social distancing. There are situations of closure in Mumbai too. Its most impact is on the film and TV industry. Theaters are completely closed. Shooting of many films has already been postponed. Many stars have isolated themselves in their home.
