Ex-Servicemen mini rally at Rajgurunagar (Khed) on 13 October 2018

As part of Headquarters Southern Command initiative of organizing Tehsil level mini rallies to honor and remember Veterans and Veer Naris, a rally is being organized at Tehsil – Khed (Rajgurunagar) of Pune District on 13 October 18.  The main focus area of the rally is updation of personal data of the Ex-servicemen with Veterans Cell of Dakshin Maharashtra Sub Area and to address pension anomalies with the Records Office of various Training Centres.

All retired officers, Junior Commissioned Officers, soldiers and Veer Naris settled in Tehsil-Khed  (Rajgurunagar) are invited to attend the rally.  It will be an ideal platform to gather first-hand information about the problems being faced by the veterans and Veer Naris and also to address the grievances related to their documentation, pension and recruitment by civil agencies etc.  Other than this, a medical camp is also being organised.

The rally would also witness participation by welfare agencies like Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), Ex-serviceman Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), Zila Sainik Board, AADHAR Registration Office as well as nationalized banks like State Bank of India and Bank of Maharashtra to brief veterans and Veer Naris on various welfare schemes initiated by Central and State Governments.
