ED Finds Concrete Evidence of Maulana Saad’s Connections With Accused of Delhi Riots

New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate in a search of Markaz’s ten-year accounts has yielded ample evidence that is enough to prove Maulana Saad’s involvement in Delhi riots. According to sources, the ED has also found some evidence related to Tahir Hussain, the main accused in the riots, and Faisal Farooqi, the manager of Rajdhani School. ED has raided Tahir and others associated with him twice in the last few days.

Investigation has revealed that in a few years, Maulana Mohammad Saad, Tahir Hussain and Faisal Farooqui made a lot of assets. ED has got important clues about Maulana Saad’s black properties. According to sources, Maulana Mohammad Saad’s money has been invested in the luxurious building of the capital public school of Faisal Farooqui, the mastermind of the Delhi riots. Not only this, Maulana Saad has invested his black money through Aleem in many more properties including Faisal’s and another school. Aleem is a relative of Saad and is associated with foreign funding to Markaz. The entire transaction of money takes place through that.

During the riots, evidence of repeated conversations between Aleem and Faisal Farooqui has also been found in the call detail to the investigating agencies. After Alim’s niece was married to Maulana Saad’s son, he started living in Markaj. After this, Saad also handed over the entire work of managing Nizamuddin Markaz to him. Apart from the crime branch, the Special Cell and the Enforcement Directorate are investigating these three. In such a situation, the investigating agencies are now investigating the accounts connected with Faisal and Markaz.

The luxurious Kothi in Delhi’s Zakir Nagar, where Maulana Saad has been hiding for the last three months, is said to be of Aleem, but the investigating agencies suspect that Maulana Saad has invested the entire money in it. Similarly, he has anonymous assets worth crores of rupees in many places, ED is investigating money laundering. The ED had interrogated several people associated with Markaz, including Aleem and Maulana Saad’s sons.
