Dubai: 4-year-old whirls to death inside washing machine

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE- Another act of negligence by parents of a 4-year-old kid has come up. In this bizarre incident, the kid got stuck inside a washing machine and died.

This incident which took place in Ajman, Dubai on Thursday has shaken the people living in the area.

The washing machine had hot water filled in it in which the kid drowned. The deceased boy who was a resident of Al Rawda, Ajman and was with her grandmother and paternal aunt during the time of incident suddenly went towards the laundry room.

According to a media source, a police official on Thursday said that he accidentally went inside a front load washing machine and closed the door, immediately after which the washing machine started spinning.

Police is suspecting that the kid might have got into the machine out of his excitement and got stuck inside. Immediately after which the machine started spinning and the child drowned inside.

The incident came into light when the kid’s mother came to his grandmother’s place to receive him. The deceased’s paternal uncle broke the door of the machine and pulled the dead body out.

The dead body has been sent for post mortem and the autopsy reports are awaited while the police is probing into the case further for more details.

Many deaths due to kids getting stuck in washing machine have been taken place in the past too who decided that the washing machine is the best place to hide during a game of ‘hide & seek’.

This incident should make the parents and guardians aware of taking care of infants and children. They must realize that it is very important to never lose a glimpse of the small kids and children as they are mischievous and are bound to commit mistakes, but the parents need to be extremely cautious.
