Doctor hangs himself in Poona Hospital

A doctor who is known and respected in the society to be able to save lives of patients, a patient’s life depends on the doctor.

But, in a shocking incident the doctor committed suicide by hanging himself.

The incident took place at around 9 am. The news of doctor committing suicide in the hospital spread like fire throughout and the hospital administration is in a huge state of shock.

Nobody in the hospital is able to bear the fact and believe that a doctor in hospital has committed.

According to information by police, Shashikant Bam(63), the deceased committed suicide in the rest room of doctors. A suicide note has been received by the doctor. The exact reason of the suicide is not yet determined.

The found suicide note read on it, “No one shall be held responsible for my suicide. I am responsible for my suicide.”

The deceased Shashikant Bam was a dentist in Poona hospital. Staff and other members of the hospital are in a great shock.

According to information, the doctor came to the hospital in the morning and closed himself inside the rest room. The staff of hospital thought he might be resting inside.

But, after he did not come out for a long time, the staff forcefully broke the door of the rest room and entered the room. To their utmost shock, the doctor’s body was found hanging from the ceiling fan.

Police is probing into the case further, as the real reason of his suicide is not yet known. By tracing out the clues and evidences, police is on an in-depth research of the incident.

This investigation is going to be challenge to Pune police, as the suicide note explains nothing about the reason.
