CoWIN vaccinator app is only for administrative use

NEW DELHI: India kick-started the next phase of the coronavirus vaccination drive from Monday for citizens above 60 years and those aged 45 and above suffering from other diseases.
Union Health Ministry on Monday said that the CoWIN Vaccinator App available on the Play store is for the use of administrators only. To get vaccinated for Covid-19, you have to register on the CoWIN portal. This clarification came from the Ministry after people faced problems while registering for Covid-19 vaccination.
The Health Ministry tweeted, “For Covid-19 vaccination, registration and booking can only be done through the CoWIN portal: cowin.gov.in. There is no CoWIN app for the registration of beneficiaries. The app available on the play store is only for administrators. ”

According to the Health Ministry, if the common man wants to get the corona vaccine, then they have to register on the CoWIN website at any time and anywhere using CoWIN portal or through other IT applications like Aarogya Setu. Eligible persons can register themselves on the CoWIN portal through their mobile number through a phased process.
