COVID19 Vaccine: Here’s what Prime Minister Modi has assured Chief Ministers of all states
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made a big statement about the Coronavirus vaccine. PM Modi said that we cannot decide when the vaccine will come, but it is in the hands of scientists. But he said that we will provide better vaccines to the country. After the meetings with the Chief Ministers, he said that seeing the good rates of recovery, many people think that the virus is weak and they will be cured soon, this has led to great negligence. Vaccine workers are doing this, but we need to focus on making sure that people are alert and transmission is curbed. We want to bring a positive rate of up to 5%. He also added that the focus has also been on providing oxygen and ventilators. We are trying to make medical colleges and district hospitals self-sufficient in oxygen production. Efforts are underway to establish more than 160 oxygen production plants in the country. He said that as a result of joint efforts, today India is in a better position than other countries in corona recovery and mortality.
Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar said that in this meeting we were asked to make a strategy to make the vaccine available to the general public. Since it is not possible to vaccinate all at once. Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar said that in the first phase, the vaccine will be provided to the health workers and those connected to the medical services that need it most. Makhtar said that in the second phase the vaccine will be given to the required service providers and then there will be two phases in which there will be age-wise delivery.
West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee also spoke to PM Modi in a meeting with PM Modi’s chief ministers. Mamta Banerjee said that we are ready to work with the central and all other stakeholders to ensure prompt and universal vaccination for all as soon as the vaccine becomes available.
Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray informed PM Modi about the corona vaccine. According to the CM office of Maharashtra, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray informed PM Narendra Modi that he was in constant touch with Adar Poonawala of Serum Institute. He also said that the state has implemented a vaccination program to ensure the timely delivery of vaccines.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said that the third wave of Corona has arrived in Delhi on 10 November. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal informed PM Modi that a third wave was witnessed in Delhi on November 10 with 8600 corona cases. Kejriwal demanded intervention from the PM to get rid of pollution. He expressed concern over pollution caused by stubble burning from nearby states. Along with this, CM Kejriwal has also demanded additional 1000 ICU beds in central government hospitals till the third wave in Delhi.
The condition of Corona in Delhi is continuously deteriorating. More than a hundred patients have died here for the fourth consecutive day. On Monday, 4,454 new cases were reported here. But 121 patients died in the last 24 hours. Corona seems uncontrollable in Delhi due to the increase in the death toll from Corona.
